ON MY MIND
As a creative and an art director I was taught to be a bit of a magpie, to keep a visual scrapbook of things I find interesting. That has never really left me though now I tend to do this through digital media;

I grew up listening to David Bowie (cool) and Abba (not so cool). I've also had a variety of colourful hairdos and shoes. I've worked for a variety of ad agencies as a creative (art director), production companies as an art director and on self-initiated projects as an artist/filmmaker. I was asked to exhibit in the 2002 D&AD women’s work show and was part of the D&AD educational initiative.
I have recently finished working as Head Of Art at Calm Publishing and currently lecture in brand communications, advertising, and design. I published an academic book about advertising in February 2014 with Laurence King.
I like art, going down hills on my bike in parks, good coffee and sadly, playing on the Xbox One.
